Earl: I operated my company under the Aqua-jet Carpet cleaning name from 1980 to 2000. That is in the Telus Yellow Pages out here. When I advertised my address on ICS in 2001 and told people how I was making over $200,000/yr/truck with the Power-Dri installed in my Cleanco, I must have made alot of people mad at me cause I had 3 break-ins to my truckmount including bullets shot thru the windshield, slashed tires, powercords pulled out causing freezeups and much more. Total over $5000 in damages in less than a month.After that, I sold 51% of the company to my nephews and got out of the business. They changed the name.It continues to operate under that new name, which I have not revealed to anyone since then. But you can certainly see my adds in the book for the 20 years that I operated under the Aquajet format. You will even see the $49 Whole House Specials that are in the book up to 1998 as well. |
