Regardless of your opinion on what you think the IICRC can do for you, Kleen Kuip is offering a Carpet Cleaning course in October if you are interested.

If you read the application properly you will see an agenda of what the course is offering. There is no on hands training involved and Ted also believes that their should be some for the students to get an idea of the theory they are learning. Ted does bring some equipment and tries to put this in effect if of course time allows.

I do know in the 15 years of Kleen Kuip holding these courses that not once a student has said to me anyways, that they found the course to be of no value to them at all and believe me I do ask.

There is always a sure way of changing anything that you do not approve of and that is to get involved your self to bring about change. If you wish to stay out of the fire and be safe then the best conclusion is to put up or shut up.

No Adwa it's not free I plan to get rich quick... I'm NO FOOL miss goodie 2 shoes...  Nothings for nothing  at least anything I do will be better than the IICRC.  thousands of dollars for introductory courses and at the end they give you a piece of paper and a plastic card that makes you an expert.

The new CCCA will mean soo much more, the CCCA will have an apprenticeship program, where you get real world experience.  Extensive textile studies done at the Dupont.  Environmental studies done at ryerson, along with a few sales and market course for added bonus.

the program will probally run a few thousand dollars a course, and take 3 to 6 months.

but our graduates will be well trained, and they will graduate knowing how to clean any carpet and upholstery properly.
