A few people here may have experience, but you will get a more complete answer to your question by going over to icsmag.com and doing a search on this there.8 years of answers there from 1000's of carpet cleaners.

I own a Mach 12. I guess the important thing to keep in mind is that they don't flush the carpet as well as an extractor, so wicking is going to be a big problem. I've had problems with them on particular types of really short saxony, getting an even look and also with the machine wanting to hop. You can't do stairs or upholstery with them either.

On the other hand, the machines are about as fast as they claim, although I tend to do two passes. As a method of agitating the carpet before extraction, they are outstanding. They really draw a lot of attention, and the customers are usually impressed.

If possible, I recommend renting or borrowing one before you buy it. You'll know pretty quickly if it's the machine for you if you try one on a variety of common carpets. My employees fight over who gets to use mine, and tend to use it too much when I'm not there to stop them. There's one particular 90,000 sq ft lobby that everyone begs to do with it.

Also, their chemicals are the best I've ever tried.
