I only use a tape when we are replacing flooring etc. Not accurate???? More people who think this is rocket science. Mine is out about an inch on 25 ft. After being in buz for awhile you should have an idea what size the room is. Counting tiles, I have seen some sizes other than 12" which are hard to tell from the floor. Same for 2 X 4 tiles?

I guess bending over with a measuring tape is to old fashion or not professional enough..........but it sure comes in handy when all else fails.

measuring wheel here I've also got a point and measure thingamajig but find it to be inaccurate alot of the time, especially on larger rooms so I just use the wheel it's not perfect accuracy but pretty close............usually works in the customers favor if anything |

Sonic Tape. We measure the entire room. Our price is based on the entire room weather we are cleaning traffic areas or the complete room. The only thing that changes is the sq. ft. price.

1. I wanna find out what measuring tools do you folks use. A tape measure or one of those wheel counters? 2. When charging by the ^ft., do you include surface area that has furniture on it? Assuming the customer knows you do not move the furniture.
