no problem My prespray is an Alkali, I extract with an Alkali, so to bring the carpet back to neutral pH I mist on an Acid before I rake out. I've heard some people prespray with an alkali then extract with an acid to leave the carpet at neutral pH. I've heard somewhere that running a neutralizer through the equipment is hard on it. I was just wondering what works for the cleaners here. |

Misting on after cleaning is a simple waste of time and just adds to the drying time. The will also be no consistancie.  Either put an emulsifer or rinse threw the machine?

I never did understand why you would want to spray on a rinse after cleaning
