i have a boxxer 421 with 78 hours, it primes up fast but as soon as i turn over to the on position i can't draw much if any chemical. I rinsed with viniger and it helped but still can only get 3 - 4 gph, my filters under the brass nuts are both clean but the water is just drizzling out and is suppose come out in a small steady stream. The unit doesn't seem to be holding as much heat either.
I live 1 hour 15 minutes from the dealer, can anybody help. Please. |

i have checked all the fitting for leaks nothing, i have flushed with viniger which seemed to help a little i have checked the water flow from the mixing tank to the high pressure side lots of water, i have taken off the flow adjustment knob lots of water i ran the machine and checked for water at both filters when machine is running lots of water, i checked the check vales niether broken or stuck. the dealer says an orfice is plugged somewhere and pretty soon his orfice is going to be plugged as i was happy with the machine but now i'am starting to wonder if i made a good choice.

I'm not firmiliar with your unit...but they are all the same trust me...
your chemical feed is loosing pressure because water is dumping someplace...your loosing heat because water is dumping someplace...
if you can find the solenoid open it and clean it out........
do you run out of water quickly on a job???

I am not that familuar with HM but get your manual out and follow the water diagram to where you come accross an oriface it could be plugged. On Pro Chem you need to take off usually a brass plug and behind it will be an oriface you will probably need an allen wrench take it out and check to see if it is plugged hard water will cause this very quickly. In the past I have used a needle to open the oriface. Are you using soft water in this unit.

Run phosheric acid thru it, not vinegar. Vinegar is to weak. Rinse the phospheric acid out after 60 minutes. Any scale will then be gone.

i don't have a fresh water tank i always use a garden hose to my machine as far as finding an office, every fitting i have taken apart they are just a fitting or a hydrolic type connector. in BC we have soft water, another thing that puzzels me is that when the unit does go into bypass the chemical jumps up to 6 as soon as it finishes dumping the heat the chemical again will drop to around 3 and i can't get it up(ha ha ) the chemical

Only IF you leave it in longer than 60 minutes. Then it corrodes metals. |
