I am in the process of getting into the carpet cleaning business and am interested in going completely eco-friendly.  I have contacted my local congessman and left a message requesting information on grants or assistance in the start-up of this sort of business.  Unfortunately, I am white, and a male...:)  I didnt know if any of you out there has looked into this or could possibly point me in the right direction.  Thanks for any tips!!

Haha, I would put it in my wifes name to qualify as a woman owned minority business if they didnt make you jump through so many hoops!

The eco friendly strategy will definetley help you if your looking for assistance through the government. Thumbs Up The only place I know of to go is www.grants.gov I gotta warn you though, you will have information overload! There is so much minutia you have to filter through that I eventually gave up. But you sound more motivated than I was!
