Lee, click on the Aussie forum link at the bottom of the page and join up. You have a choice of NUCCRA or ICAN. The IICRC courses are well worth doing but you will get better support from one of the 'locals'.

1. First of all, vacuum the carpet and remove all the stains that you
possibly can. 2. Mix the dry foam solution according to the directions
of the manufacturer. 3. Shampoo the carpet then once it has dried,
vacuum the carpet. 4. Depending on the type of carpet you have, groom
the pile to speed the drying process. 5. Complete the work by using a
furniture leg pad or block to eliminate furniture stains or rust.

I took the question loosely. Association, organization, whatever.

If you know what you are doing and using a good pre spray you do not have to pre spot as your cleaner should remove almost all spots as you clean. there is a difference between a spot and a stain?? Are you with me so far???
