If your really serious about starting a business in carpet cleaning, I would highly recommend Jon-Don's "strategies for success". I am a previous class member and being in this industry for 16 years, it was the best one week investment I ever made into my career! That being said, if money isn't an issue, why not a truck mount. You can't even get close to comparison of the power in a truckmount. If anyone thinks differently, I challenge you to show me wrong. I've been looking for a portable for awhile now and the Cleancraft Eclipse seems to be the most powerful on the market yet still not close to a truckmount. A truck mount will certainly make your life easier. Slacks

Gone and nearly forgotten. I suspect he'll be back under a new handle, that is if he isn't already. Maybe you can finish that neighborhood yet.

Are you in a high paying business or are you just a self employed low paid grunt who thinks this business provides dignity?

Full of Himself is more like it.
He's dumber than dirt and twice as dense. Soon to be forgotten. Civil servants are people who can't make it out in the real world as MBCC will learn. I expect to see his equipment for sale on EBay soon saying "Never Used" Edited by Soil Lint Green - 05/June/2008 at 2:49am |

Yeah, well this CC rookie could out perform you any day of the week. And don't worry about me and this forum. I am leaving your arrogant asses to your own devices. Besides, I don't have time for your petty BS.

CCandmore writes: (by the way, if you’d quit arguing and listen, you could learn a lot from them – if your skin is thick enough). So in your world, you let people basically spit in your eye and your response would be please spit in the other? Not a chance. If their skin is thick enough they will take it in return.
These are average times. Vacuuming is usually 10 minutes. The purpose of vacuuming is to remove light debris. It's a quick once over. How long does it take you? Spots come out easy when you can recognize what they are. Most are readily identifiable. Questionable ones is a quick spray/scrub & sniff. I hand-caddy 7 different spotters. Universal spotter works on about 90% of them. Heavy oils and red stains are typically the other 10%. Pre-spray the whole carpet. Look, if your going slow over "good carpet" speed up. Take your time on high traffic areas. I also use a concentrated oxy-carpet cleaner solution as a tank additive (full strength is 2 oz per gallon). And deep extraction does the rest. |
