You pay $40.00 and write the test at the end of the course. In a few weeks you receive your score and certificate in the mail.

How much does the test and cert cost?  I found a school here in Portland that will teach CCT in December.

And does the school generally serve as a testing center or is that centralized?

The name was change some years back to more reflect the divirisity of the membership and certifications hense IICRC. I could be wrong.  Maybe this can be better answered by  Mr. IICRC Lee Senter.
