NO.... don't use tin foil.... looks cheap and unprofessional...use plastic tabs....they are not expensive.........

I use blocks or tin foil. Wrap it up, make it nice, but always keep it gully when you use pads though.

I get "what are those?" from a lot of my customers; they have never seen tabs or blocks before. I find more of my tabs than of others cleaners. |

sometimes you dont get to go back....they found someone cheaper...even thouh you did a great job.....
or you didnt keep in touch with them (postcard etc.) so they forgot....and they do forget after time.......

I use plastic TABS and styrofoam blocks.... pads are for VLM'ing...and post-padding..........................

Stanley is on the money. I would pad all wood regardless of the circumstances and I block all melomine/presswood furniture.Melomine can release its glue and swell at the bottoms when left on wet carpet. One side note though, Make sure something is plastic and not rubber. I have seen exercise equipment and office chairs leave marks that were impossible to remove completely when left on wet carpet |

Fortunately we don't have to use pads and blocks, don't even have any on the truck. You guys work awfully hard don't you?
VLM , is easier in many ways. |
