I got the Tempest air mover. Found it at Jon-Don for $149.00.....cheapest I could find. does a good job....has a high and low setting.....and yes you have to be careful where you point it or it will blow things around.....but it does dry carpet fairly quickly.

Imaginary machines have 0 psi and 0 gpm. They are dry the fastest. Kenny has a corner on that market.

Well Ken sorry to say it but yea it does keep me cooler but your dead wrong.. That CGD job was dry in less than 30 minutes with that fan and TM POWER..
Ya see ya need the TM power combined with a fan like that (cheap less than $30) and skills man.. Skills..
With that fan and TM POWER and SKILLS Resi.Nylons will dry in 1-2hrs.. If i post pad then even sooner but most custys don't want to pay the extra.. Ken don't dis me man..

That is to keep him cool. I have used fan's like that. No way can you dry carpets consistantly under an hour with it. It does a greatb job of keeping the cleaner cool though, but i still prefer the Turbo dryers for that. Throws the air out much harder and further to keep cool with.
Most cleaners prefer to keep cool like Paul here however: ![]() Edited by Superglide Ken - 18/March/2008 at 1:06am |

Do you get it dry under an hour, or is that to keep you cool.

John, I looked at the Mytee units not bad for the price. Mytee has two models one that pulls more power but smaller. You can also find some around $139 with 2200 CFM's in ICS mag (www.cleaningsupplynetwork.com). If you are using it for flood work just watch the amp draw.

Aiming your fan/airmover at the ceiling seems to distribute a rain of air movement throughout the whole carpet area vs one path if aimed down.. Depending on the situation of course..
