You are correct!  So it's in the interest of all involved to do the best job possible.  I have been subbing for sears for 13 years, You have to do the best job possible because if you don't ,you don't have any money coming at the end of the month.  NONE and if there is a repair of any kind(ie replace carpet or furniture) they will grab all your sub pay until it covered.

Sears use to have a lot of employees around 10 years ago but now I think it's all subs.

Sears head office doesn't want the franchisee's to use subs, but they still do.

a refund could be up to 1000% 2000%  up up and up

Cleanex you've benn around so long... tell us why people continue to support these types of companies???  In this day and age where the consumer is way more aware...why are these guys able to sell 50 to 100% on every call.??

Nothing wrong with upselling... it helps the bottom line.

The difference is The Big guys have Big Advertising bugets,, that are always bringing in new customers.

Those numbers I gave in my earlier post are real!  I've seen the numbers.

Word of mouth moves slowly... trust me...  deep pockets gets the calls everytime.

I would never say that these guys provide poor service...the truth of the matter is as a sub or employee there is only so much a tech can do with the percentages they get paid. Most do an good job... or sears/bay gives the money back to the customer.  You can't make any money that way

steamer I have been around long enough to know all about the Sears, The Bay. or any other of these franchises they survive on upsales, and that is good for us because if they ever promoted and provided quality cleaning services you and a lot more of us would not be on this Board to day talking about carpet cleaning, we would be out of business PERIOD!

Last SEAR's help wanted ad I saw read: cleaning tecnician wanted must have sales experience. They are not interested in experienced cleaners that only slows things down and no money is made if someone actually knows what they are doing other than miss leading the potientially brain dead customer.  So Lee where does that leave you?  maybe you can share you customer lists with them.

you must be rich cleanex  you charge way more????

what are you using for your calculation?????

200 sq ft room = 17.5 cents per sq ft= $35 per room

I personally don't think the market can handle that, but the way the gas is going raising prices is a reality.

Cleanex they upsell 100% most times.

The GTA is making in the upwards of 5 million a year...(toronto,scarb,uxbridge,markham,aurora,woodbridge,maple,kleinburg,schomborg,tottenham,newmaket,orangeville,grandvalleythornhill,richmond hill

Brampton, Mississauga,West Etobicoke has to make around 1.2 million

Oakville burlington waterdown just around a million...

truthfully cleanex you really don't have any idea what these people make...they make LARGE MONEY.

Trust me these guys can buy and sell you....

These are hacks that bring home cash
