If you use a volitile spotter then clean that spotter up with a non-volitile spotter after then throughly flush with water.

Try applying something called P.O.G. or P.I.G. You should be able to find some at an Ace, Dixieline, etc. Just follow the directions.

Hi, I guess this is the best place for me to getsome advice. I used WD 40 to remove a rust stain on my carpet, but in the process it left a black smudge on the carpet thta i cant remove. Do any of you guys with your years of experience have any ideas for me on this one. The stain is old but I would like to see if I can make it better. Thanks in advance for your help.
