MikeFest is a lot of fun and you learn lots. The people that attend are the real deal. Down to earth people that look past the bullsh*t to get to the real truth about products and techniques. Egos don't go over too well because being the tough crowd they are they don't put up with the bullsh*t.
If its not a good group then why the hell does it have double the posts of all the other cc BB combined and did it in under a year. We test stuff there the way we use the stuff - seems right to me. If you want to try some airy - fairy testing then go follow the IICRC ,CRC crap with all the other bleating sheep. You will notice that some of the people who are knocking MikeFest or Mikey's Board have been booted out or are not welcome or they simply haven't been to one. Steamer I know you got a little one hatching but if you had the oportunity to go to MikeFest you would get your eyes opened and what you learned in a couple of days their would make your life easier and would earn you more money. If it was my fest and I could afford to I would pay your way just like Mike did for Waldo. I couldn't think of a person who would gain more from it than you. |
