I know I am going to get crap for this, but I like Commercial Oreks. They last longer, they are faster, easy to work on, and lighter. Not the most "powerful" but you cant beat them in mobility and price. Not recommended for wet carpet, but then again I don't thank any dry vacuum is. Water ruins the filters or bags.

moisture in an upright vac makes everything stick to the bottom & the hose & everything else.

I paid a small fortune for an Oreck dual stack and hated it.
I have all Royals now and they rock.

All vacuums clump if you suck wet debrie into them. Some just suck more than others in this regard eh?

Never even seen a dual stack. I just use the good old ten pound XL model. $200 tops. Edited by FuzzSucker - 07/January/2009 at 12:03am |
