I don't know about anyone else on this forum, but we live in an age of knowledge at our fingertips.....If I wanted to know what chemical is best for pet stains.....I would just Google it, and I'm sure 100 different posts will show up.
If I would said " Yeah Sure I use CL200 Plus from Pets R Us " and that is only available in Quebec, what good would that be.....every carpet cleaner believes in his own products he buys, there is NO best product.....it either works for your applications or not.
I used many Brand name chemicals for a greasy carpet, and to be honest.....TIDE REALLY WORKS BEST FOR ME.
All I read om this site is " WHAT SHOULD I BUY ....." WHAT SHOULD I USE "....." SHOULD I SEND OUT FLYERS, POSTCARDS, OR GO DOOR TO DOOR " Just dumb useless posts is what people like to delight this forum with.

Superglide Ken,
Thanks, honestly. I know you meant well and in good fun with the gasoline/match comment, and you cleared that up with some legitimate advice. I plan on replacing the carpet in the near future. For the time being, however, I used a chemical from Clausen's called Dual Cleaner/Sanitizer. I get it from my supplier through work. I am not a novice to cleaning, I've just never had to deal with pet stains.
As for you Nightrider, it was funnier when you didn't know the mistakes you made. You must have had your wife proof-read your second post, huh? Nice.
My search for help here is done. May God help any other people looking for sincere help here.
Booooo!!!!!!

Wow. Pretty hostile. A simple suggestion of getting new carpets would have worked. As a new and first-time homeowner, I'm looking for suggestions and advice that experienced homeowners or professionals have to offer. Not people that give sarcastic BS or get ridiculed by misspelling, bad English, sneaker-freaks.
Again, thanks to those who gave the actual advice on chemicals I originally asked for, and for those that suggested getting new carpet without being a-holes about it.

Ok so the gas and match idea was a little over the top. I was trying to convey the futility about what you are trying to do. I have done THOUSANDS of jobs like this. They never work unless you are prepared to replace all carpet, all pad and sand and seal the floor. Most people(unless they are selling the house) will NOT pay what that costs. They want a cheap solution instead. There isn't any. A new dog in the house will ALWAYS be able to find the urine left by the previous dog if this is not done. It will then mark it's territory by putting fresh urine down on those exact same spots. If you do attempt to do this job without doing it right, don't guarantee the results. It will cost you alot more in time , effort and reputation if you do.
