Hey folks,
We have a client that has some carpet that has ABS pipe cement on it from some sloppy plumber. It is in a closet so its not a major deal but she would like it out if possible.
Any thoughts???
Thanks in advance!!
Bill

How deep does the glue go? All the way to pad?
What type of Carpet-as in fiber? What have you tried already? |

It is a small spot on plush nylon carpet. It looks like it is just on the top of the carpet. I haven't tried anything yet, we are going to do the job on Friday.
We have a TM with a Rotovac and we have Defence Spotter, paint oil and grease remover as well as the usual carpet emulsifier and rinse.
Thanks!!

Bill,
I would try freezing it off- or POG it if need be. Also if it is just on the top you might be able to nip the top off the carpet off with some napping shears. POG should work as a solvent to disband the glue.
