Burning smell with a high pitch?
Your bearings fried in your vac motor.
It could be brushes but brushes last a long time.
Never had brushed wear down before the bearings.
It's always the bearings.
Moisture dries up the bearing grease.
Replace with 3 stage.

You may have burnt out a vac motor. Take it to an electrical repairer.

I own a portable with a shurflo 150psi and 2 stages vaccum, there is a weird burning smell coming out of the portable...
The pump is only one year old. Any suggestions at what should I look at? is it the pump or motor? Thanks in advance for your advice. |
