Has anyone ever ported their TM exhaust through their trucks muffler system to make it quietier or would this be a good idea?

I have seen some vans with an exhaust going through the floor and a muffler near the side of the van. It made the truckmount much quieter and I would definitely like to do it on my truckmount vans in the near future.

it`s easily done , go to your local muffler shop buy a good silencer style muffler with low air restriction. then have them bend and fit a length of pipe into the exhaust of your machine . now all you do is slide it into place when you need to.take it off when done. i`ve done this for years on night jobs.

That is not a good move. You system is designed to move a certain amount of air. Restricting it is not smart?

It seems that cobb carpet Dynachem Truck mount has silencer. Mine is Houston Panther, very nice price, the machine is OK, but very loud. But it seems that customer like the loudness. But I dare not opperate it during night.

My El Diablo is very loud but I need the air flow as well. I guess I'll have to live with it.
