Just curious, The customer said it was clear water, now just because it came out of the toilet Is it still a class 3 water damage? I would guess it's not sewage unless there was sewage flooded. |

Source of the water what is important. From the bowl is always treated as Cat 3, wheareas the tank is Cat 1 or 2.

Steamer if it was clear water why would you not just clean it up. Why would you have to rip it out?

I mean I didn't think of it that way. I thought if water is clear then there shouldn't be a problem.

It's a basement... it was hard to sell... plus it smelt like hell... so maybe I was blinded.... cleaning the carpet is way easier than ripping it out... I wouldn't want to touch it |
