Hi there,
I tried to clean a dark brown jute carpet... using water. This was before I knew the dangers. Well, now the brown has faded... is there a way to fix it? To bring the faded spot back to its original dark brown? Edited by paulo75 |

Could be a residue... what's an acid rinse? That sounds like it would turn
it white... I just used baking soda and water. |

We have not had great success in this. Oversteeped dark tea is one thing that has worked. |

I am not sure if you can reverse the outcome once you treat jute with water! It is not suposed to touch water in any way, only cleaning with dry agents! Find extra information before experimenting, cause jute is kind of expensive too!

You should have run....lol I think you could be screwed....... You can treat jute with water...but it has to be done very evenly, with extra drying strokes...some air movers. but most people who have JUTE have MONEY...and how does a wrecked jute look in a million dollar home??? I hope for you sake it's just a jute mat... |
