What are you guys thinking?? Jim was not a carpet cleaner. I would think you want to show a little professionallism for once in your careers and actually showup dressed like a business person in a suit with a car. Or make a good impression and park your dirty ole van in the parking lot. How will it look in the receiving line with your cleanest dirty uniform on or better yet short pants and work boots. I guess my ideas and yours of paying respect to someone I thought very much of are very different.

There was never any doubt about going in a suit.
It was just sort of neat thinking about a line of trucks.

Doug
With all due respect please do not insult my intelligence or my parents and the way I was raised. Nobody said a thing about showing up in dirty clothes or work clothes, please dont be a jack-ass.
My vehicles are brand new and never dirty inside or out. I never keep a car or van longer than 48 months.
Have some respect for US for a change. I have never spent less than $600 bucks on a suit d**k.
We are grown-ass men here we dont need you to tell us how to show respect to a fallen bro.
So guys, run your van through the wash and bring it assuming it is presentable.
God Bless

An honour guard of carpet cleaning trucks. How Original? After all this is your brain wave isn't it?? The way you talk I have a question. In your case for $600. does the suit come with the d*ck??

Geez Doug its only people trying to find a way to say thanks.
I remember my first IICRC class, it was with Jim and in my mind I knew everything, afterall I had cleaned carpets for 20 years. He opened my eyes really wide and I appreciate the road I then had seen for the first time.
Its really hard to say thanks or play tribute. I fear it will never be said how much he meant to us to his family and friends.
I think its too cool that others feel the same. And its a sure thing that there are lots of others he has made feel the same way who don't even know he's dead yet.

No need to argue....I'm sure the company truck will be fine...I'm sure a suit would be fine...I'm sure a golf shirt with your company name on it would be fine...its not the fact of what you drove or what you wear...IT's that you came to give your respect and support...
I'm sure support in any form will be appreciated....no need to debate this
