1" is better that 7/8.... can handle more torque... NR you can buy a unit with all the bells and whistles...but simpler is better....

My machine shop suggested 1 1/4 in. They think 7/8 isn't strong enough to take the load
I imagine the 7/8" is strong enough, or Cleanco would have increased the diameter to 1" already. It is cheaper than 7/8" because more of it is sold. |

well as of sunday nov 6th... The shaft is in and clutch is on....heat exchangers have been connected wiring is done...all engine components have been re-installed...
only thing I didn't realize the shaft is 1" not the regular 7/8 cleanco shaft...so I need a few new bushings...and to bolt down all the stuff
and I'm done...
