well since you know how big accounts are handled you wouldn't have agreed...
we all know your the grand daddy of clean
and you're more than willing to contradict something someones has seen with there own eyes....because you have done it all.
I have forgotten what the thread was about...lol
But I stand by my prediction...as the cymex becomes more popular we will see a change...
I'm waiting for the famous cleanex quote "I refuse to have a battle of wits, with someone who is unarmed"

I can remember back in the early 60's when T.V news media and brainy social analyst said that by the year 1984 we would all be working only 3 days/week , plenty of leisure time to relax with those 4 day week-ends to travel to the moon and back on a shopping spree.......not to mention the cars that would drive themselves, rocket jet packs to zoom around the city, houses that talk, appliances that work on command, desposible clothes, and the list goes on................22 years later 1984 has come and gone and I still can't find a watch that keeps time, and a toaster that can toast both sides of my bread equally...............meanwhile all you guys out there think that a " Cimex Machine " is going to revolutionize and change an industry

Steamer we all lose accounts from time to time for various reasons, some for cheaper prices, some may opt to clean their own carpets, however, there is a ton of work available for those who wish to go looking for it, I do know that those who choose to clean their own carpets seldom ever save money, nor do they receive the additional advantage of properly cleaned carpets lasting much longer than those that are improperly maintained, I don't sell carpet cleaning to commercial accounts, I sell investment protection for their floorcoverings, and if our program can extend the life of product by 5 years or more I have saved my account a ton of money and that is one thing most accounts understand. Most can not achieve that with their own staff doing the cleaning. As for the battle of wits thing don't work with this post as you do make a good point, and that is something we face all the time, thank God you are not in Janitorial Services because that is much more likely that a account could get totally fedup with that service and decide to clean their own building. As far as the Cimex cleaning I still only call it interium maintenance procedure and that extraction cleaning forms a part of the overall carpet care program |
