Spread the tufts open with your fingers. Does the brown go to the base, or is it just on the tips?

What is pad cleaning? Also what should I do about the area that didn`t need cleaning but as soon as I swept over it with the wand it caused a dirty look to the carpet like I was pulling dirt from beneath? Is it because my pressure was too high, or my suction too strong? And should I extract using anymore solutions being that the stain is bigger and now looks brown? I really appreciate all the help.

This is exactly the reason why I dissagree with this flooding of the area in an attempt to neutralize the urine in the pad. Water claw or no water claw you have probably wet out the wood floor below the pad. Take a hydro sensor and find out how big the wet area is below the carpet before you go adding more water and try to reclean the area? Just applying gallons of chemicals for a quick fix and a quick buck can sometimes backfire.

There was a existing stain in that area that you were trying to treat. Flooding it might of helped the urine contamination but it created the wicking for you. Either go back and use a waterclaw on the area or just pad clean the area if odor is not a problem.

My truck mount was set 16hgs suction and psi was around 350 solution(which is chemspec all fiber textile rinse). I flooded the 3+ day old pet urine stain with an enzyms deoderizor chemical from a local dealer and let it sit for 15-20 mins like I was instructed to do. I then extracted the chemical using my wand which made the spot look white. After a once over I used the rinse to give it a more thorough clean and to even the white out. When I did that the clean carpet which is a cream color became extremely dirty like I was sucking dirt from beneath the second backing. I did that about 6-10 times and it just kept spreading everywhere the wand went. This was done @ 6pm and the next day around noon I went back and the spot looked worse than before not to mention the dirty surrounding where I used the wand. I even tried usung a harvard premium olefin prespray after noticing the carpet getting dirty. Used the wand with the rinse and still dirty carpet. If you can help I would greatly appreciate it (and so would my mom

The stain is in the pad.....like a bullet hole...goes in small but expands into the pad.....all you did was suck some of the crap back through the carpet.
a water claw would be helpful in this case

I was doing just a pet stain on some fairly clean looking cream carpet and as soon as I pulled my wand across to extract the solution the carpet around the stain had become dirtier than before I started. What the heck happend??? Was it because my suction was too strong?
