We have just retrofitted our old TM for duct cleaningand carpet cleaning. Our problem is the dust downer is using way too much water.

Lee: Turn your pump pressure down or put an inline valve in.

I've used the Cleanco dust box in the past,it didn't seem to use much water. I would turn the psi as low as it would go |

If the dust downer is using too much water, turn down the pressure as low as it will go.If you cant get below 100 psi with it, change to a .01 jet instead of the .02 jet some have in there.

Good Point Mr. Steamer. We sell the Rovac equipment as well. With HEPA filtratuion built in, it requires no water at all.

My Powermatic has a warm up valve (stream of water inside vac inlet)
Could I just leave it on for a dust downer?? |
