I was wondering if anyone has experience with cleaning carpets made from recycled plastic? Think they use recycled bottles, not sure. Material is called PETG I think.
This is the first job I have ever had with the new fiber material and I wondered if HWE will work, what chemicals are best, do we treat it as Nylon? Or is it more like polyester? In fact are they really using it to make fibers or as a synthetic backing material? I would appreciate an education on PETG. I remember Sherman Guffy saying something about it last year at a Portand Oregon seminar but I think it was in reference to the carpet manufacturing industry going Green. Are you in a high paying business or are you just a self employed low paid grunt who thinks this business provides dignity?
