forget them and move on...I have gone to court to collect before...it's just not worth the effort...just do like me and keep a list of these people and check it to see if they ever call you back a few yrs later...if so, remind them of the debt they owe you and that you won't do business with them untill they pay up...and if they do pay, then tell them you still won't do any more business with them...but most if not all of the time, you won't ever hear from them again...it's just part of the downside of our business...I have a lot of customers that both work and so they just leave me a key and sometimes they forget to leave a check, I just leave them the invoice and they mail me a check with in a couple of days...but I won't do that with a first time customer...trust has to be both ways...

You can have a default judgement against someone and then have a debtor's examination by the court. If they fail to appear to the court appearance they can be held in contempt.
