Probably is an olefin carpet, producing wickback. You need to use an olefin cleaner and follow it up with a bonnet clean and acid rinse. Fibreclean makes both these products. KK can get them if they are not stocked by them, since they are made by Cleanco. Results are better if you use a pad instead of a bonnet with your rotary machine.Oh, and turn down the pressure. 550 is way too high for that kind of carpet with portable extractive power. I suggest you stay under 300 psi to be safe.Higher pressure is okay with the nylon carpets most of the time, but not this.

DLD..... I agree with Kenny stay way under 500 psi... I'd do 150 psi... keep pre-spray to spots only...actually right now all you need is a good rinse because you have already cleaned it...and I'd throw a couple of air movers in to dry it up quick... humidity brings out the worst in us...just like carpet |

DLD Olefin is a prespray.........it is good for deep soil build ups, helps remove filtration soiling and reduces yellowing conditions. Dilution Ratio 1:45 |
