We charge $1.40-$1.80 per square foot for synthetic rugs depending on fibre type and construction (we charge more for Modeacrylic tufted)

Hope this helps

Don't charge what other people charge, determine your costs to do business, tack on the profit margin you want and that is what you charge to clean carpets or any other service you provide. No two people on this board have the same costs to operate their businesses.  Yes it is good to know your competitors pricing policy, however, don't believe everything people tell about what they charge for their services, most often it is a bunch of crap!

$1.00-3.25 a sq ft.

I agree with old Dusty Roberts though, those modacrylic rugs are bastards.

moving furniture to take out and then replace rugs cost more

basic roll up and carry 1.75 flat rate for all types

if there is moving and then replacing involved 2.75

do a house with 15 to 20 rugs all move and replace and you might even want to charge more

Area rugs makes the biggest difference in our bottom line over all other services and products.

Knowledge goes a long way.

Steamer.

Are you suggesting to send it out to Paul and Co. at Turco-Persian in Toronto?

What do you mean .45cents?

.45cents per sq ft... thats the rate..... unless you've been going there forever Like someone I know you get .25 cents per sq ft..

you make a kill off the area rugs and you don't even have to clean them.

but it depends on how many area rugs you get... if you only get 1 or 2 clean them yourself if you have the space.  but if you geting more farm it out... it's worth it
