OK Mr. Steamer I am taking your advise and starting my very first Topic. Let's see how it goes.

I would like to know how every one's spouse, girlfriend or boyfriend in some cases support you in the carpet cleaning business.

Do they work with you, for you or against you.

I myself am a workaholic. I have a family of six that I take care of including my sister that moved in with me 3 years ago after her divorce.

I work way more then 40 hours a week, I am a trainer on a Bantam AAA hockey boys team with no child of my own there. I started a girls hockey league and run over 100 girls on varies teams every week, this includes dealing with all the parents, coaches and refs with no child of my own in the league.

I also am in the summer a trainer for Peewee AAA Hard Ball with again no child in the league and taken in consideration this is all volunteer work.

I have two boys that play hockey in the AA GTA Hockey League and a daughter that played more hockey then my boys and is now in a Division one Women's hockey University in Minnesota on a full Scholarship.

Do I need support from my family, your damm right I do. Do I get it , well I will let you know one day soon.

I see you are getting no support.  How does someone get a little respect around here??  We are a family run business everyone helps in one way or another.  After 20 years I think they are trying to replace me.  But no one can find  my job description.  That is my opinon Guitar

Mr. Steamer when I was in college I heard a lecture on time management. I never really paid much mind to it until after I had my kids. I use to feel like I was being stretched so thin like an elastic band and I didn't know which way I was going to fling if let go. That is when that lecture kicked in and changed my way of thinking.

I believe it should be a mandatory course in high school. I think it would help prepare our teenagers for the eye opening experience of life without your parents.

Making your self happy is hard enough, making every body else happy is next to impossible. Stay Cool   Wait till after you pass age 45 and that saying time is of the essence really starts to make sense.

volunteer your time for YOUR kids team only! Your kids need you so does your husband. There is a reason why you are spending so much time away from him

Cute Splash,  and get rid of that stupid face your giving me a headache. Did I say I was alone when I am out running around.

How do you think my daughter got a full scholarship, it takes four to five times a week driving to rinks giving support and also being her teams trainer. It takes dedication and involvement to get what you want. My daughter wanted it and I did everything in my power to see that she got it.

If you think skill alone gets you what you want your a fool. All our kids played hockey and it takes team work from both parents, it was not uncommon for us to be at two games in different rinks in one night.

It's a comforting thought that all people are not as narrow minded as you. How would there be any growth in any sport without the good volunteers to make things happen for the good people that just want to watch their own children play and stand on the side line whining because the politics of sports is not fare to their child.  Play safe Splash!!
