Congrats.. A local dealer sure is a plus.. Not to stear you away from the Legend
but just wanted to say i looked at that
TM also before buying and a bunch of
others in that price range..
![]() The one i chose will cost less and you
get more vac more heat more pressure
more room if you have to fix something.
![]() Let me explain..
![]() Legend -- air cooled (great for motorcycles) Heat destroyes components faster.
![]() Freedom-Xt -- Liquid cooled..
![]() Legend -- 20 hp
![]() ![]() Freedom - Aegis 26 hp
![]() ![]() Legend pump 1200psi..
![]() Freedom -----2000psi..
![]() Whatever you choose good luck to you..

The new Legend GT has 23 hp.
Redesigned and simple. Freedom XT not so much. Not to beat up on Powerclean but Prochem is more reliable and customer service is top notch. Just my opinion. Whatever you do buy local.

OK They are both great TM builders and great TMs...
![]() so lets compare. My opinion will of course differ from others.
Legend GT has 23 hp air cooled (air cooled--great for motorcylces).. FreedomXT 26hp liquid cooled.
1200psi
![]() ![]() This baby gets lava hot. The Legend cant touch it on heat or vac or psi.
![]() Redesigned and simple. Thats a good thing but not so simple to turn a wrench if you have to.. Its tight..
Freedom XT not so much. Actually more area room to turn a wrench.
![]() but Prochem is more reliable.. Says who? A Prochem dealer..
![]() and customer service is top notch. Same with PowerClean were i bought mine.
![]() 60 gal wastetank -- 75gal on the Freedom..
2950rpms -- 3300rpm on the Freedom..
Just my opinion. Whatever you do buy local. I agree..
![]() AND ONE VERY IMPORTANT FACTOR PRICE!
![]() LEGEND GT = $16,272.00
![]() POWERCLEAN FREEDOM-XT45 = $11,775.00
![]() and dont tell me it cost more because its better.. Its not..
SAVE $4,497 and get more hp, more psi, more heat, more vac.. Its your money..

No arguement they are both great machines. I had the choice of buying the Prochem for $38k as opposed to the Powerclean for $36k and the main reason for me getting the Legend GT was the fact that the service agents are 25 minutes from where I live compared to 2 hours for the Liberty. The performance difference between these two machines really isn't that great in any case. 1200 psi will comfortably clean the grout without an increased risk of blowing out the grout lines with too much pressure ( 2000 plus psi ). The heat is more than enough, as is the vacuum. I dont do hard surface cleaning and never do large commercial jobs, so I dont need a machine capable of running 600 foot of hose or more than 230 degrees of heat. For my business ( mainly wdr and high end residential ) it's been ideal and a big step up after running a portable for so long.

Even a Blazer will seem like a quantum change in performance. I went from speester to blazer and I'm well chuffed.
Obviously bigger is better, er well hang on... in some ways. A Blazer is simple. There's the key components and some bits that make it work and they are all straightforward. For a newbie you have lots of performance and less to go wrong. If you are still in business 2 years down the line get a big complicated one with all the bells and whistles. |

Hi
Yes I phoned her first and when I gave her the invoice I got her to sign a clearance form. I also having a video of me washing it, immersion style. I used a Kodak Zi6 a bit like a flip. I wouldn't do it like that again but they were such good comments I've kept it. I didn't have Vegas then either so there's no edits. It all gone tits up today. Been moving hosting to UK and it's not transferred all my stuff! ![]() |

ps
You will get about 1 in 10 on video as people are camera shy, just keep asking. If they say pass then say no probs I can ring you up (record skype) and ask you a few feedback questions or would you prefer to fill out a feedback form? Again written consent important. Customise the questions for your marketing efforts. I say (which is true) I'm doing a 'video diary today, would it be ok to film?' This was tested and found to be my best chance of a yes. Hope this helps |
