Is anyone using any of the green pre-sprays or detergents? If so which ones? What sort of results are you getting? And can anyone recomend a brand available in the US(Im located in upstate NY). I was given some samples of Jon-Don's Matrix Planet Guard TLC, but I see that the PH is 12! hardly suited for stain resistant carpets. I will try the Planet Guard detergent sample though.
I spent 20 years drycleaning with perc, so I figure it's time to stay away from the toxic solvents. Also I hope to market to a "green" customer base exclusively. Thanks in advance of any insight.

I use Chemspec DFC and find it works great as long as you give a bit of dwell time.

This is a simple question that needs a straight forward answer, it doesn't require sarcasm or humor, thanks. If anyone has experience with "green" chems, I'd appreciate some 411, thank you.

You already got the answer mate!
DFC 210 DFC 105 DFC Heavy Duty ECOgent all made by Chemspec http://www.chemspec-europe.com/ http://www.ecogent.ca/ They all work if you let them dwell, have enough heat with your truck-mount and scrub the solution in before you exctract. |

We have been using DFC products for well over a year and they work for us as Doug said give them a bit of dwell time and you will be happy camper. DFC products work well in both HWE and low moisture cleaning systems
