Got an email last week from a lady who wanted her carpets cleaned, so we chatted, and I made an appointment with her.
When I got there she knew everything about me, my history,forums I had posted on, articles I had written etc. She even knew about this board. Turns out she had goggled me and the company to see if there were any negative reports or complaints on the net, and she came across this site, she read ALL the posts,,. I guess it was like watching me when I was not on my best behavior. Point I am trying to make is that carpet cleaners are not the only ones who have access to this site, and if your post or signature contains your name or info about your business or website, it might be worth treating this board as an extension of your business, and continuing to act as professional as possible. By the way, in case you read this Mary, thanks for the business, and the referrals. |
