What is the ideal Psi for cleaning carpet w/ heated water? What is the ideal Psi for cleaning tile w/ cold water? |

I would say 1000, but the StonePro guy I talked to suggested 500 psi following a pre-scrub. So that's what we do.

350-500 psi for carpet and 1000-1200 psi for tile.(Round-a-bout)

650-950 for hard surface resi
1200 for commercial

I normally go with 350 psi for carpet and
700 for T&G.

I think it really depends on the type of carpet and soiling conditions. If you're cleaning lightly soiled carpet IMO you don't need 500psi i clean at around 250-350 on an average.

Depends on several factors.
Carpet 4 - 5 hundred PSI Tile some guys use no pressure |

400 psi for carpet 900 for tile and grout When using my rotovac I up the psi to 600 psi
