Lets here some horror stories about chemicals

Hi all, I have been cleaning carpets for 16 years (friends and family only but I have cleaned hundreds of carpets) and I have been reading on this forum that carpets are sticky after cleaning? still too much soap left in the carpet? What are these hacks using? I have been using Teds Steam tex for 16 years mixing at 1 ounce per gallon some times 1 and a half ounces and the stuff works great the carpet has never been sticky and always turns out great and clean let the comments fly I want to know what have you guys heard of other cleaners using in there extractors? Are these guys using Tide?

If you use an once of " Tide " in an 8 gallon tank the carpet will come out clean and NOT sticky as well.....I've cleaned my restaurant carpet with Tide many times and turned out great and lasted 4 months. I have also cleaned my carpet with just hot water and turned out just as well.....No magic or science in carpet cleaning.....just like washing clothes

Doug.....That's because you never tried it.....another product that works very well is commercial dishwashing soap for automatic dishwashers.....but a little dangerous to use, burns the skin.

I have a degree in Chemestry and I challenge any manufacture to prove me wrong when I say all their products are very limited in a chemestry point of application.....only dilution ratios determine profit margins and most so called concentrated products are 90% water to begin with, balance are solids, surfactants, wetting agents , dye etc etc.   Careful Ladies and Gents.....never forget the best cleaning solution in the world is still WATER  ( H20 )   Let me challenge you all to an experiment, .....bring a pot of water to a boil and put into a sprayer and pre-spray on a dirty carpet.....then with very little or NO soap using your porty or truckmount clean the area sprayed..........there you go, it won't get cleaner than that.                                                          Nightrider

Carpet cleaners are retarded......they believe everything the read on the side of the bottle...while the guys making the soap laugh all the way to the bank...hahahaha
