Im thinking of buying a NINJA 5OO SPI with heater. Any cool ideas how to just leave this in the van and work it with long hoses and cord. I find client sometimes dismayed if you bring along your portable inside their house and use their eletricity.

ANY PROFESSIONAL ADVICE WOULD BE TRULY APPRECIATED!!!!!

never run more than 20' of hose off that machine if you want to be a Pro.

better yet. run 100' of hose on your own carpet and report back as to how long it took to dry.

make sure to have mold remediation company on stand-by.

you will need a total of at least 4 vac motors ( so buy a booster box ), hook up a gas heater, run 2 inch hose and modify the machine to be auto fill and auto dump.
fit a greenglide to your wand as well.

or buy a truckmount.

TM sounds like the best bet in this instance. Or issue everyone ear protection when working and find enought hydro to run this monstrosity?

It wasn't that big of a drama Doug. As I've probably posted on here before I used to run my portable from in the van running up to 6 vacs ( two in machine and two each in two booster boxes ).  Using up to 45 metres of two inch vac hose. I would run one power lead to kitchen, one to laundry and the other to somewhere else in house. I rarely had power tripping problems. That gave great drying results using a greenglided wand. The rolling of the power leads before and after each job is something that I dont miss however, but it did give very good results without the expense of a petrol powered machine. It was also a lot quieter than my Prochem GT.

In your message  I'm not sure wheather you are using a truckmount or not. If you are,why would you want the portable ninja with the long hose? If your not using a truckmount, a portable should be fine in the home. I've been using portables for 30 years with great results and don't quite understand the negative responce you're getting-especially about using their electricity.

These same people would be the ones to complain
that their heating bill went up because you used a truckmount and ran the hose thru an open door. I would question my clientele and not yourself.
All this being said, it's still the man behind the cleaning wand that cleans the carpet and upholstery.  As long as you follow  TACT; TEMPERATURE-AGITATION-CHEMICAL-TIME; you should have no problems.
