Hello.

I'm just getting into LM carpet cleaning with my OP machines.

I see that a lot are using encap methods, I'm using  a LM specific solution with good results.

I've joined here to find out even more about OP cleaning as it is yet to take off in a big way in the UK.

Kind Regards,

SmartCarpet

Hi Jay, nice website.
I have just joined the forum in the hope of learning more about LM cleaning.
What sort of results are you getting from your LM system and what do your customers think of the fast drying times?

Regards

Jim

From my experience of VLM cleaning, it is not a one cleaning fits all carpet fiber types. Don’t get me wrong, I think the rotary systems supply optimal agitation for superb results. However, only Hot Water Extraction is recognized and recommended by the carpet mills. Why is that?
Anyhow, VLM works excellent on Berber, commercial carpeting with little or no piling and the glue-down stuff with no padding but may prove to be a bit too aggressive on residential carpeting if using a rotary tool. My opinion is that HWE and VLM methods each have their own place and purpose.
Any thoughts or comments about this?
