It's the side torch of the RX-20 and the dri-master that seem to raise
heck with my leg. the power glide and the rotovac at least are on wheels and it is more of a push- pull instead of a side torch. time will tell. |

Between the RX-20, the Rotovac and the Hydramaster Drimaster Jetless Rotary Cleaner. I would say the Drimaster would be the easiest to handle. Although SGK back on the 19th of November was showing his teflon glides designed to fit and RX-20. Maybe these could solve your problem.

My worker is out on a workers comp injury so This old guy is getting a
work out ! may have to break down and buy a rotovac yet. Anyone out there us them on an everyday basis????? does it save the back ? does it do an equally good job as an RX-20. I have an RX-20 but I can't use it because it messes with the nerves in my leg . Do you think the rotovac would be easier to handle. any opinions ??? P.S. Good used RX for sale ?? maybe ?? |

Rotovac is a good tool IMO once again not the greatest on commercial carpet but great on residential.
uses a back and forth motion like a wand. one thing to watch for is that there is a small section between the heads that doesn't clean so you need to go half way across your last cleaning stroke. |

I tested a drimaster side by side with a Prochem Power Glide in my own
home. The Power Glide had a better dry time by at least an hour or 2. The drimaster operates similiar to an RX-20 in the manner in which you operate it. It has side torch like a floor buffer. In the past I have gotten nerve damage in my leg from using the RX-20 and so I discontinued using it. The Drimaster started giving me that same feeling. I think if you are skilled at a buffer you will do just fine running the drimaster. I have been told that you almost need a carpet with a pad underneath to get the drimaster to work up to par. Commercial carpet is not it's forte. And the floor should not be uneven as with any rotary. although the Prochem power glide I feel beat the drimaster in dry time , it is more akward and heavier lifting in and out of the van. At 49 , I'm thinking of looking at a Rotovac. Any comments there??? |
