Today I knocked over my wife’s finger nail Polish and it broke and spilled on the carpet. I’m a panic I did all the things they say not to do like wet it, bush it etc. it did get a lot of the stain up but there’s still some there. Looking for any recommendation here.

Same problem here! Pls help. In my case, my dog accidentally bump my nail polish while I'm doing my nails and it spilled all over our luxury rugs. Any first aid advice?

I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you.  I ended up finding a video on YouTube that saved the day.

See if this helps you. It worked wonders on my carpet.  Just be careful with the remover itself. Good luck!

Using Nail polish remover is risky ,because acetone could potentially damage the top layers of the floor's finish, according to SFGate. You may find success with a natural solution like rubbing alcohol depending on the color of the nail polish stain and how long the polish has been sitting on the floor.  For stubborn, ground-in polish stains, soak a few cotton balls in rubbing alcohol, or cut a square of cloth that matches the size of the stain and let it saturate. Lay the material over the nail polish stain, and let it set there for a few minutes before gently scrubbing out the polish (you shouldn't have to use too much elbow grease). Rubbing alcohol can remove most layers of nail polish with ease. If you notice the polish coming out but there is still some on the floor, repeat the process. Keep massaging the area until it's all clear.

Spray a good amount of hair spray onto the nail polish stains and follow up with small splashes of rubbing alcohol. This is one of the best ways for how to get nail polish out of the carpet.

I would try a solvent to get it out.

I once accidentally spilled nail polish on my carpet too, and I totally panicked. I tried all sorts of things to clean it up, but there was still a stubborn stain left behind. What ended up working surprisingly well for me was using a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. I gently dabbed it onto the stain and let it sit for a bit before blotting it up with a clean cloth. It took a few tries, but eventually, the stain faded away. Hopefully, it works for you too!  And hey, maybe this experience will inspire some creative nail designs for your wife's next polish session!
