    We use both sides of the pad, however I don't run them as long a some do, I don't BURN the dirt into them. 
 If you have a dirty carpet and change the pads more, you will clean faster AND not wear out your pads.  |

   Makes sense John. Abrasion is still abrasion. Anything you can do that reduces it adds to Pad life. The new ones that I will be selling soon are designed to last over a hundred cleanings.
