they have no choice... it doesn't make it any easier when attaching pipes together with teflon...infact it makes it harder...lol |

You might think so. However measure on two identical black iron pipe nipples the number of turns, and the torque needed to bottom out equally.
Of course, the tape is meant for sealing, not for making it easier to attach, as you noted. Thanks, Lee |
