i was wondering why most cc'ers mount the truck mount in front instead of the rear cargo area of a van? doesnt that block, rear access to the van from inside?

Good question.. Mine is mounted for side door access.. It's personal preference..

Espeically if it was an extended Ford van with all that overhang over the back wheels. Man you would be driving uphill all the time with a very light front end.
