Has anyone seen an infomercial for rugdoctor on late night tv?They are offering a rugdoctor for $49.95 U.S,and showing all of these stains it could magically take out.Must have been on a new piece of stain resistant carpet.Anyways i thought the infomercial was a big joke.

Lucky for the infomercial ignorance is bliss........if you noticed it so did hundreds of women.....thinking wouldn't it be great to own a machine and have it at there finger tips when ever spills occur. 6mths down the road.....BAM!!!.......carpets ruined......were can I buy parts........and what the hell kind of soap am I suppose to use. Get the calls every day........my advise.......call a professional Madam. |

It somewhat helps us...If they don't use the rug doc It brings the attention to them on the carpet...

FOAM,FOAM AND MORE, NOT TO MEANTION RESIDE Took us a whole day to clean a 2 bedroom apatment with a truckmount and went through about 3 gallons of defoamer. |

What I'm saying keben is that them ads wake up ppl. to get the carpet cleaned.....Awareness....not all want to do there own..... but i hear ya when you run into one that did....

I own a power washing company based out of nyc & this past month I have added carpet cleaning to my services. I bought the rotovac start up kit and it seems to be nice quality equiptment. Well anyway 80% of my power washing customers have pressure washers in their garages & sheds and they all say " I used it once on my house but I never used it again" Reason why on the tv commercial they throw mud on a fake house and give them a 2000 psi to clean it thats basically a garden hose. To clean a house you need 3500 psi. Its hard work and they then put the machine in their garage and call a pro. So as for the rug doctor they will buy it use it and say wow this is hard work im tired i had to move all of the furniture and my carpet has been wet for 12 hours!! Im calling a Carpet cleaner next time! Let them buy it let them use it let them junk it!

12 hours? A friend of mine did it himself and it was wet for 3 days The best part is that they don't think it is easy carpet cleaning any more. |

Nothing hard about it if you have the knowledge about chemicals and your equipment.I know i could do and outstanding job with a rugdoctor but lets not tell homeowners about that.The handle is too short. |
