coos21...you should have 2"by2" the floor and had it sprayfoamed as well...and then a divider...and spray foam that too.....then a 60 watt bulb could keep your van warm...spray foam has an air tight seal...

you loose most your heat from the floor and your dog house

Just so all you guys who bashed me about freeze up know, it was 19 lastnight and when I woke up this morning it was 48 in the truck. Maybe, just maybe, I found something that works? Now if it gets below zero then I will do the blow out and all of that, but for now its the tarp and the thermal blanket for me.

Nightrider, you may have described exactly what I am doing better then I did.

" iF THE VAN IS WARM AND THE STEAM COOLS TO THE AMBIANT SPACE TEMPERATURE AT A QUICK ENOUGH PACE.........THERE WOULD BE NO CONDENSATION AT THAT POINT, ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE HEAT GENERATED FROM THE HOLDING TANKS "

And that is exactly what I am doing. Stealing the excess heat from the holding tank and keeping the hoses and pumps above 32 degrees. Well thanks guys for your input. I would say for now the case is CLOSED!!!

GO BANE!!!
