In 2003 Mark researched and developed a quick drying all natural cleaning process using d’limonene (the oil of the orange). Combined with the state of the art rotary jetless Drimaster technology, the results were outstanding. Cleaner carpets dried faster, leaving a fresh citrus aroma, and as a bonus, the equipment is easier to use for the technicians.
Armed with this new exclusive technology and process, Mark also decided that he could further enhance his company’s growth by franchising. |

Some how I don't think D'lim is going to make a carpet dry quicker. Its a NON-volatile solvent.
As for the rotary drimaster, its just a machine that uses steam cleaning to bonnet clean the surface of the carpet. I have the uph tool, I need to pull it "slowly" across the uph for it to work properly. The RDM revolves quite quickly. Just another machine to make the carpets LOOK clean. Clean carpets don't dry any faster, well extracted carpets dry faster! If you never get the soil wet in the backing, its still there!! If you don't dry vacuum most of that soil out in the first place, whether you get it wet or not, its still there. Two more things about D'lim. One, its not that safe. In my Whimis Crse I learned it stays in the body, not to mention takes the oils out of the skin. Two, if its not rinsed well enough it will leave a residue on the carpet causing it to resoil and possibly yellow. It was a problem for cleaners about 5 yrs ago. BTW, does D'lim really sanitize or does it just deodourize leaving the orange scent? Edited by hcciam - 28/June/2007 at 11:29pm |

Sanitize? Not a chance. It just leaves a citrus odour for a few hours

Smells nice, but causes more issues than it solves.

All natural product eh?
So is poison ivy. D'limonene is part of the turpene family. Hardly safe stuff and hard as heck to rinse. |
