I know one thing....they sell here in Canada for a pretty big buck. The one I did see recycles water. If that is the one your talking about......forget it. Can you imagine sucking up urine and then putting it back down again with the recycled water. Makes no sense to me but I hear their wands are pretty good.

Hey folks, There is alot of misinformation around about the CFR systems. There are all the same cliche answers about "sucking up Urine" or "cleaning with dirty water" and many more. This is always coming from folks who have good intentions, but do not understand how the technology works and more importantly, do not own or use the technology themselves. The combination of chemistry and filtration is very sophisticated and eliminates any concern about recontamination. And the advantages of the system are HUGE! How many of you have a portable machine that can clean an entire house (45-60 minutes of cleaning) without dumping and refilling? Most portables would have to refill 2-3 times, robbing you of another hour of productivity. How about running 1.2 gpm instead of 0.5-0.75gpm? Trust me more water means more clean. The biggest problem with leaving dirt or other substances in the carpet is caused by not recovering enough the first time. Here again CFR is tops. Their patented wands and tools recover considerably more solution. The result is cleaner carpets that dry faster. The bottom line is, the CFR system really works! This is coming from someone who actually uses the CFR machines. The best advice I can give is. Listen to others who actually use a product. Only they can give you a meaningful evaluation. |

I just can't get my head around using filtered water....if it was distilled water then yes. But have to agree on the their tools.......best design in the industry for drying. They are just a bit more money than most wish to pay....but as you say if you talk to an owner of a CFR tool.....he would never let it go. |

I'll be buying a cross-american this week and i must say, it's got
better specs, a better prices, i was able to speak with the founder of
the company personally, which i must say was a wonderful experience,
and everyone raves about the cross-americans. I researched for about 6
weeks, every porty out there, no contest, get a recoil-3.
Who wants to reuse urine? Although, they say some people drink their own, maybe that is a key customer market for CFR? who knows? |

What a load of crap is posted in here. I can only assume the contributors are either , thick or ignorant, maybe both ! Having been in this business for over 20 years and used, sampled, trialled just about everything that claims to clean carpets. I have found that all systems will clean, some clean better than others, some people swear by a particular brand, without trying others, some claim that T/M's are so superior to the rest, that, there really is 'no contest', trials, appear to show that, bonnets with particular systems can outperform T/M's, some claim you need 'heat' others claim you can achieve just as good results with cold water and microsplitters, etc, etc. Condemning products or individuals seems to be what this forum is all about, rather than comparing, testing, encouraging....... OK, I'm just visiting, and a foreigner at that, but that's my first impression........ After those comments my opinion is probably of no consequense, however, in my opinion, the CFR is an excellent machine especially when used properly. The best results I've ever achieved were achieved with CFR technology and microsplitters. Forget about the pee being recycled, when did you last come across a carpet or suite full of urine and do you really think for one minute that machines don't get emptied and rinsed through between jobs open your minds gentlemen
