If you use the shop vac, you can leave enough water behind to max out the drying time

Shop vac is professional equipment. I would say most of the national Restoration providers all use them. Just stop a Wal mart on the way to the job and wal la you got brand new equipment that you just bill to the job? Just make sure you don't get the one with the pump it does the job too fast?

I would guess MONEY to be the major pre-requisite, you can be wearing diapers, sucking on your thumb, and saying nothing more than goo goo gaa gaa, if you have MONEY hanging out from the side of your diaper YOU'RE IN

What is IICRC Certification?
In 1972, the International Institute of Carpet & Upholstery Certification was established to provide a means by which a professional carpet, drapery, and upholstery cleaner could become certified. A short time later, it was incorporated as a testing & certification body owned by the cleaning industry's regional and national trade associations who subscribed tto high standards of professionalism, techical knowledge, and skill. Now universally accepted as the objective certifying body for those reaching levels of proficiency in the industry, the IICUC recently changed its name to the Intitute of Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration Certification (IICRC).
