If I was going into the grout cleaning business and was serious about it I would want both systems to assure me excellent results and having a back-up is always a smart idea.
I have found sometimes that high pressure works better and other times mechanical action works better. A combo of both is the answer.
A professional carpenter always has more than one tool in his toolbox.

Yes, you can use a brush with OP for grout. Even better if it is an actual Tynex brush with irregular brissel lengths for more effective reach-down into the grout lines.
When finished you can sop up with a cotton pad OP or use a squeegee and wet vac.
